They are naturally occurring trans fats like in meat, but most that exist in our foods, are formed via an industrial method that increases the level of hydrogen in vegetable oil that solidifies at room temperature. The fat increases your bad cholesterol levels and at the some lowers your good cholesterol putting you at the risk of contracting heart disease. In addition, the hydrogenated oils have a long life span and so many restaurants use them to deep fry foods since they don't require constant changing like other oils. Below are some trans fat foods to avoid at all cost:

Fried foodstuffs like fries and chicken are known to contain high cholesterol. They pick the fat from the oil used to deep fry them. Some dietitians suggest that people should try sauteing or pan frying rather than deep frying. It is also advisable to use liquid cooking oils such as olive oil that have the right amount of cholesterol.

And with the high number of people seeking this sweet delicacy, high rates of illnesses are being recorded. The toppings that packed with the popcorn are not left behind, they also contain this dangerous substance.

Doughnuts are sweet delicacies that are appealing but contain high cholesterol. Doughnuts should just be totally avoided since they are only made by deep frying. You can opt for whole grain toasts, bran muffin and English muffins that give you a healthy heart.

Also, ensure you use the right oil and powdered sugar for toppings as a substitute for frosting.
